REALTOR® of the Year Award - Nomination Form

The REALTOR® of the Year Award honors a REALTOR® who has demonstrated outstanding service to both the real estate profession and their community within the past year. This prestigious award celebrates a distinguished individual whose dedication, leadership, and contributions have made a significant impact.

Please provide all required information in the form. After completing the required sections, additional questions are optional. These optional sections are designed to help us better understand and evaluate the nominee’s achievements and community involvement. The criteria are as follows: 

REALTOR® Professionalism (35%) - Demonstrates high principles, adherence to the Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, and the Code of Ethics. Promotes the principles of good real estate practice among other Brokers and the public.

Local Association Activity (35%) - Active participation in the local association through attendance at meetings, serving as a Board officer or Director, chairing or serving on committees, completing special assignments, and contributing to seminar activity or education initiatives.

Civic Activities (10%) - Involvement in service organizations, charitable activities, political initiatives, and membership or support of fraternal, sorority, or religious organizations at the local, state, or national level.

State Association Activity (15%) - Similar to Local Association Activity but at the state level, including participation in committees, leadership roles, and special assignments. 

National Association Activity (5%)- Involvement at the national level, including participation in committees, leadership roles, and societies or institutes affiliated with the National Association of REALTORS®.

Each category is weighted to reflect the nominee's professionalism, commitment to their association, and community involvement at all levels.

We encourage you to include as much information as possible, but please don’t feel obligated to fill out every section. Simply share what you know about the nominee’s accomplishments, involvement, and contributions. Your input is greatly appreciated and helps us recognize the best of our REALTOR® community at this year’s REALTOR® Ball.

Provide details about the nominee’s leadership roles and participation in civic, professional, and charitable organizations at the local, state, and national levels. Include:

Focus on activities that demonstrate the nominee’s contributions to their profession and community. If possible, specify the years of involvement and any notable achievements.

Additionally, include any other recognized achievements such as degrees earned, professional designations held, or notable business accomplishments.
