Outer Banks Association of REALTORS® Installs 2026 Leadership Team at Annual REALTOR® Ball
The Outer Banks Association of REALTORS® (OBAR) recently celebrated and inducted its new Board of Directors at the annual REALTOR® Ball. The event marked the official transition of OBAR’s leadership, elected at the Annual Meeting in October. Janice Scarborough of Howard Hanna Outer Banks officially steps into her role on January 1st as the 2026 President of the Association, succeeding Christi Bryant, who will continue to serve as Immediate Past President.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve this remarkable Association,” said Scarborough. “With this team by my side, I’m looking forward to everything we can build and accomplish in 2026.”
Joining President Janice Scarborough are President Elect Stephanie Doshier of The Doshier Team OBX Realty, Treasurer David Roberts of OBX Surf Realty, and Secretary Maslin Seal of Century 21 Nachman Realty. Whitney Hawkins of Brindley Beach Vacations & Sales will serve as the 2026 Property Management Director, and John Head of Resort Realty will continue for a third consecutive year as the Tourism Director.
The incoming Directors-at-Large for 2026 are Carrie Bateman of Beach Realty & Construction, Winston Hawkins of Brindley Beach Vacations & Sales, and Ilona Matteson of Beach Realty & Construction. Leslie Coleman of OWN Real Estate, Tiffany Moldovan of Beach Realty & Construction, and Haley Paige Winslow of Coldwell Banker Seaside Realty will continue in their two-year term.
This team will lead OBAR in advancing its strategic plan, which emphasizes supporting member success and advocating for private property rights.
